Fish Season - May

Try baked lemon Cod with our Bittersweet Zesty Garlic Herb Blend.  It's so easy to make and with warm crusty bread as an accompaniment it can make a light dinner. Just heat the oven to 200 degree C. Rinse each cod fillet and pat dry with kitchen paper, then brush with oil. Place each fillet on a piece of baking paper. Top each fillet with 2 lemon sliced and our Zesty Garlic Herb Blend. Fold over the baking paper to encase the fish and bake for about 20 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

TIP: Store all your ground spices in your refrigerator - especially curry blends, chilli powders, paprika and turmeric.

We recommend using Tatua sour cream as it won't curdle or separate when cooked.  Look for it (or ask for it if they don't carry the sour cream) in New World Supermarkets.
